Parkinson's Physical Therapy Program
Our Parkinson's Physical Therapy Program is tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual. We understand that Parkinson's disease affects each person differently and requires a personalized approach to treatment. Our program focuses on helping patients maintain their quality of life and independence as long as possible.

Goals:
-
Improve mobility and balance
-
Enhance strength and coordination
-
Decrease stiffness and rigidity
-
Address pain and discomfort
-
Improve overall function and quality of life

Our Approach:
Our approach is centered around the individual and their unique needs and goals. We begin with a comprehensive evaluation of the individual's current abilities and limitations. Based on this evaluation, we work with the individual to set realistic goals and develop an exercise program to target those areas.

We use evidence-based techniques to help individuals increase mobility, strengthen muscles, improve coordination and balance, and ultimately, enable self-management strategies. Our approach is based on principles of neuroplasticity, which involves optimizing the brain and nervous system to promote recovery and improve function.
We work closely with the individual's physician and multidisciplinary care team to effectively collaborate and integrate recommendations from the care team.

Our program may include:
-
Individualized exercise program
-
Gait training and balance exercises
-
Stretching and range of motion exercises
-
Strength training and conditioning
-
Cognitive and sensory training
-
Education on self-management strategies and lifestyle modifications

We understand that Parkinson's disease is a complex condition and may require ongoing care and management. Our goal is to empower individuals to take an active role in their own care and promote optimal function and quality of life.
